May in Arles

In other news ... well, this is sort of a big deal. I’ve accepted an invitation to stage a solo exhibition in Arles, France, Saturday the 4th of May until the 25th, at the Arles Free Space gallery. Much more about this again as the time draws closer! Thanks to Babette Gallard for responding so warmly to this body of work.

Albemarle Magazine

My first bit of news today is that Albemarle, regional magazine of “Jefferson’s Virginia,” has run a nice feature on The Very Rich Hours in the new (October/November) issue out on newsstands now. In addition to an article on my work, including images of six recent paintings, they've got a fairly stunning (if I do say so myself) full two-page spread of the sunset from September 12th (“In the Gloaming”).
